Joseph M. Bennett, AIA
Joe is a licensed Architect and Interior Designer in the State of Texas and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He is a native Texan and holds an undergraduate and a Master of Architecture from Texas A&M University. Joe is the principal of JM/Bennett Architecture and has extensive experience in commercial office, hospitality, retail, and numerous residential projects. He enjoys the challenge of creating spaces that enhance people’s lives through artful composition of form and function while incorporating building science principles into the building envelope and systems. Joe has been involved in many facets of architecture, beginning his career working in residential and commercial construction to being an early implementer of computer technology in architectural design. He continues building on lessons learned from his project experience to bring a wide spectrum of knowledge and perspective.
In his travels to urban cities like Vancouver, Florence, Rome, San Diego, Chicago, Boston, New Orleans, New York City and more, Joe draws his energy from the exploration of people and place. With his research and curiosity of various building types and spaces observed throughout his travels across the United States and Europe, Joe has developed a unique perspective on architecture that is both innovative and practical.
