The Owners approached us only knowing that they needed more space for their growing family and a desire for a more luxurious master suite to escape. Joe found the perfect location for a stair tower that brings them up to their expansive master suite with a private terrace overlooking the Barton Creek Greenbelt. They also desired a flex space for exercise & hobbies. A bonus office space at the top of the sunlit stairway was created for a work-at-home office. Seven years later the new owners who fell in love with the second-floor addition wanted to renovate the kitchen/dining room. JMBA went back to work and created a beautiful bright kitchen with a breakfast nook where the family could come together. Above the built-in breakfast nook was a large chalkboard which turned out to be a blessing for their kids during the unbeknownst future pandemic.
