The Owner/Chef purchased the iconic Stallion Grill on Airport Blvd and wanted to transform it into a casual, cook from scratch kitchen that she had been known for in downtown Austin. While she knew exactly what she wanted to create on the menu, transforming the building was another story. Joe created a new timber-framed outdoor patio that gave the building a new face for its new life. The Chef’s vision was to maximize the efficiency of the kitchen, maintain the drive-thru, create a casual dining room, and expand dining out to a covered patio. Working closely with the Chef and the general contractor, Joe was able to bring together all the pieces into an organic dining experience.
